You Don’t Need That Fancy Degree
Or the student debt that comes with it.
At least not in the way the mainstream tells you you do.
Your degree doesn’t guarantee anything except debt. Good luck. Student debt’s a bear to eliminate.
But think skipping college will save you money? The job market might disagree. They’ll handcuff you with entry-level positions while you hustle to prove your worth, leaving you to handle the fallout. Trade schools aren’t much better. They turn vocational training into a full-time gig, chasing an ROI that’s eroded by operational costs and limited career advancements.
Ironically, self-education – often seen as a poor man’s path – might just be the power move. Learn skills you’d never afford to study. Enjoy the knowledge without any of the tuition. When something new comes up? Adapt on your own terms. At the end of the day, you might end up in the same financial boat as the degree-holder who graduates, but without the hassle.
