Just wolfed down “The Richest Man in Babylon” in one go. Maybe it’s the old-time charm, the razor-sharp narrative, its unintentional humor, or perhaps my Bitcoiner lens, but I was hooked.

So, what did I glean from these ancient pages? Three golden nuggets:

Pocket Power: Keeping even a small stash of cash on hand isn’t just practical. It pumps you up with confidence, energy, and an unstoppable vibe.

Disciplined Delay: Want to build wealth? It all boils down to two things: delay gratification and stick to your guns with ironclad discipline.

Action Bias: The antidote to procrastination: a relentless bias towards doing. It’s the only way of consistently stumbling upon luck in every venture of life.

This book is like Aesop’s fables, but all about the green. Surprisingly, it ties money with morality too.

It’s a quick read but packs a punch, perfect to kick off the new year. From youngsters to the grey-haired, this gem’s got wisdom for everyone.

And for me, as I eye my first home in London and think family, the timing couldn’t have been better.
