Outstanding article, Mayra!
Profound , ambitious, actionable - big fan of your work. Your writing seems so person and lucid, it's almost poetic! Excellent research with perfect examples - bookmarking this for future referral.
You introduce and expand on the need of acknowledging and accepting our cognitvie biases. quite well. I've written an article titled "You Don't Know What You Don't Know" based on learnings from Matthew Syed's "Rebel Ideas" which focuses more on the question of WHY diversity within a group is important in a business and personal context, as opposed to your view of HOW to correctly bring about diversity in the workplace. I think it complements your piece perfectly and I would love it if you could provide me with some feedback.

Also, the "gender gap" is excellently outlined in Caroline Perez's "Inisible Women", for e.g. women do 75% of the global unpaid work. Women have always worked (paid and unpaid) but the traditional workplace hasn’t worked for women. It is tailored to an unencumbered worker, i.e., the male default. Because seeing humans as men is the default.
I'd appreciate your feedback on my article as I think it's another data-driven companion piece to your wonderful writing, do let me know what you think!
