You think being busy is a badge of honor? It’s not. It’s a straight-up admission that you’re out of control.

If you can’t even remember what’s on your to-do list without checking your phone or planner, you’re not productive – you’re overwhelmed, drowning in tasks that probably don’t even matter.

You’ve Lost Track

Look at your list. Half the stuff on there is bullshit. Meetings that could’ve been emails, projects that don’t move the needle, mind-numbing chores you’ve convinced yourself are essential. Spoiler alert: they’re not. You’ve overloaded yourself with crap, and the more you pile on, the less meaningful any of it becomes.

Busyness is a Drug

You’ve been conditioned to crave busyness like a junkie craves a fix. Society’s programmed you to think that unless you’re running around like a headless chicken, you’re not doing enough. The reality is simply that “busyness” is a distraction. It keeps you from focusing on what actually matters – those big, meaty goals you claim to care about but never seem to have time for.
