Got through manic Monday! Just about. Most of the work got done to a decent enough standard. Big learning for me when dealing with this customer: be bold, talk slows, be confident, don’t talk too much, maintain executive presence, let the experts do the bulk of the work.

Easy, innit.

Hardly. But glad my colleagues supported me on that one.

In other news, we bought a bed. Finally. After sleeping on the mattress on a rock hard wooden floor, we decided to finally embrace some comfort. And boy, I actually slept great. The Mrs is still snoozing, which is a great sign.

WFH today because of a pre-scheduled afternoon tea date at the Shard later on. Fancy much? Clotted cream and London views. What’s not to like?

I’ll get around to more creative tasks today but I do have to sort out the baby shopping list and start packing up our things for our big move in a few weeks time. One day at a time, we’ll get there.

Not much else to report on really. So far, so good.
