Morning. So I didn’t do the showdown presentation yesterday. Had to rush to the hospital where the Mrs wife was having her scans done. Turns out the consultant thinks it’ll Have to be an early delivery, and wants the Mrs to be admitted for further checks. At least for the next couple of nights. Sigh.
Thankfully, my work let me take the time off with no questions asked. Super supportive and super grateful to them!
So around 11am yesterday, I trekked over to the hospital and spent the day with the Mrs. Who’s in great spirits, all things considered. Then came back home alone in the evening, wrecked. Slept for a few hours. And now, driving back to the hospital to be with her.
I’ll sort out the car rental side hustle for today later on. But first, I need to get there and then see how things go. Which will all be good.
