WFH day today. And no kinesthetics or weights either. A slow, easy day where I can rest and recuperate. Not that I’ve done anything this week deserving either.
Last evening’s house viewing was great. Gorgeous flat. 1000 sqft. Lovely views of the Thames right alongside the living & bed rooms. Car park. Lift. Top floor. Generously sized rooms and bath. Mid-May move in date. Within budget. Everything worked out, right? Except when I asked what the energy rating was. The answer? G. That’s the lowest of them all. Which means freezing winters where well literally have to set fire to cash to stay warm. Hmmmmm. There’s always something. Anyway, I lowballed them. Let’s see what they say today.
The Arsenal match was a bit of an epic. Not cause of the goals or anything, but cause of the tactical, defensive battles, the niggly stoppages, the raucous crowd, the sheer tension of doing something at home that we haven’t for 14 years. Whew. Scraped through in the end, after two long hours of marathon prime time football.
Have a few boring work calls today and my 1–1 with my boss. Let’s see how it goes!
Onwards and upwards.
