Embracing Discomfort.

Claret suit, un-ironed pink gingham shirt, ribbed black tie, black oxfords. Full length mirror approved. The Mrs laments my lack of a moisturizarion routine, and proceeds to apply heaps of bio oil to my face and lips. Classy.

Heading in to work today again. Quite a busy, packed day with calls and conferences and collaborations. And then an evening of Arsenal. Whew. Love it.

Got the first photos from the repaint job at my Irish house. Looking absolutely resplendent. If I do this right, and time it well, and have my share of disproportionate luck, I am going to make an absolute killing on the house sale. Fingers crossed.

On the “buy” side, still awaiting something concrete from our mortgage provider. I’ve given them a hard deadline of Friday. Let’s see.

Nothing much else to report. Been lagging behind on my reading – I’ll get back on track from tomorrow. Writing is going so-so, but keeps me fulfilled at least.

Oh almost forgot – watched Poor Things last night. It’s umm quite something. I wouldn’t say it’s an enjoyable watch but certainly riveting enough to hold anyone’s attention. Emma Stone is epic in it, as is most of the cast tbf. The colour scheme is zany AF and the background score keeps it all engrossing and ticking along. Anyway, a good time at the home cinema was had.

That’s your lot for today – talk tomorrow!
