Embracing Discomfort.

Election day today. I’ve never voted once in my life. In any country that I’ve lived in. For any government. Primarily because I think democracy is a souped up popularity contest and I believe the best form of government is no government. Anarchist? Not really. I just think the free market solves it all, and we don’t really need a middleman – a bloated, overpaid, underworked, entitled middleman – to be anywhere in the picture.

But the Mrs wants me to vote this time, considering that London is our home now, and that I ought to take an active interest in this. Sigh. Okay. So I’ll do it. I think. If I can even find my voter id.

In other news, binge watched most of “presumed innocent” last night. Cracking show. Predictable but still so addictive. Apple TV is alright actually, another 8 pound per month has been added to our monthly outflow.

Had a gigantic pizza with the Mrs. Pizza Hut is alright too actually but I won’t Be subscribing to their monthly plan anytime soon. Do they have one, outta curiosity?

Gonna WFH today. Going to start off with a proper workout sesh, missed yesterday. And need to catchup on my reading too – missed two days in a row. And lots of tiny little tasks that are still pending – will nail them all today, slowly but surely.

And that’s that. Touch base tomorrow.
