Daily Diary
4th January, 2024
Earlyish start this morning. Up by 8:30am, worked out and ready to go by 10am. Quick filter coffee, petrol station visit, few baker gifts for the extended family, and off we set towards Dharwad.
Got into a heated argument with the Mrs that dragged on throughout the drive and stayed all through the day & night. Even when am right, which I have no idea if I am in this particular case, I hate being in this mental state. Tiptoeing and egg-shell walking aren’t really my strong suits. But it is what it is.
Met up with a few cousins and took them out for drinks and dinner at a local resort. Nice place, nearly empty except for us, and we stuffed our faces with food until midnight.
Then another heated argument with the Mrs on the same topic, again no definite resolution, and more time spent in this limbo, unresolved state. Deeply disappointed but again, it is what it is.
Went to bed a little after 1am.
