Friday again. Whew. Can’t believe I think it’s been a long week when I’ve done the square root of sweet FA all week. Still, Friday is a Friday innit?
Had a productive-ish meeting with my customers yesterday. First ever in person. Loved it actually. In person stuff is just so much better, IM-tech claims notwithstanding. The two customer officials were super smart, interested, sharp, and clearly on top of their game. Going toe to toe with them in their own turf in a gorgeous sunny afternoon was actually quite enlightening. Can’t wait to do it again. In fact, I am going to push for that exactly. My boss’s strict no-expense policy notwithstanding.
Long drive home shortly after that. I was wrecked beyond belief. A simple 200 mile return trip had left me gasping and reeling. Amateur. Anyway, the Mrs had cooked up a gorgeous keto-heavy dinner, which I gobbled up. We then spent the next couple of hours discussing our finances, future, kids, etc. And then we couldn’t talk anymore, we just collapsed and went straight to REM dreamland.
I do have a semi-full plate today too, but am gonna try and do it one thing at a time. And then I am going to finish off the baby shopping, and take the Mrs out for a drive.
