Work has been eerily quiet. Bare minimum going on. At least for me. Is that trouble brewing? Inactivity usually signifies disuse, innit? Maybe I’ll have a word with my boss tomorrow. Lt him know that he’s not extracting the most out of this high powered resource. Or anything close to it. Not sure if that’ll signpost my boredom or lack of work, but seriously, I rather be kept busy doing meaningful work than just simply collecting a paycheck every month.
Spent most of the morning yesterday looking at ways to get my hands on a Tesla Model S without sacrificing too much of my deposit. It might just workout but it’ll have to be an older car, but more worryingly, it’s paying almost 3X as much insurance. I even wrote an article about it yesterday.
Spent most of the evening grocery shopping and finishing up “Rework”. Definitely my best read this year. Or probably in a few years. Simple, actionable, no punches pulled. Inspirational too. Loved every page of it and I am definitely going to refer and read it again. The Mrs meanwhile binge watched the entirety of “Big Little Lies”, and loved it. Awesome sauce.
Right then, super sleepy this morning. Might just have to take a quick nap before starting off my day.
