The Martian is a phenomenal movie. Rewatched it last night, and I’d forgotten the sheer scale and emotional impact of the film. Glad I put myself through it!
Atlas Shrugged is turning out to be a raucous read too! A Bitcoiner’s bible, I’ve been told. And I can see why. Am only about a hundred pages in, but am hooked. Kept me up till 1:30am last night, can’t wait to see how the story develops. Who is John Galt?
Work continues to be meh. Rumours of tens of thousands of job cuts doing the rounds. I mean, hardly surprising tbh. I’ve barely worked on anything new in over two months while collecting a full salary, you’d think the upper echelons would notice soon enough? Let’s see. I reckon there’s some colossal savings to be had for the organization if this lethargy continues. Personally, I don’t care either way – much as I enjoy the hefty paycheck, I do feel there’s so much more I can offer and learn and work on. If not here, then elsewhere.
Nothing more to add then really. Just you know, humming along. Will be back in the gym from next week again, that should gimme the impetus to keep going after it. Whatever it is.
