Embracing Discomfort.

Been absolutely up the walls with work. So much going on, and as usual, I’ve put myself forward for absolutely all of it. Which felt great at the start / showing initiative and all that – but sheesh, it’s hard work. But I’d be lying if I said it’s not massaging my ego. Anyway, maybe I keep at this and it leads to an increased salary next year? One can hope.

All my money problems are slowly creeping up. I need to resign the whole finances today, make sure we have enough liquidity to pay the enormous rental bills and mortgage, all while trying to find someone to take our house in Ireland for rent. Which you think would be easy given a rental crisis, but no such joy. Yet. One for next week to follow through on. My D-Day for having it occupied and paid for and contracted is 1st July.

Anyway, in other news, the Mrs is back next week. Summer is here. Work will plow ahead. Lifestyle changes definitely coming soon – mostly upgrades with potentially a couple of downgrades.

So yeah, I’ll keep on keeping on.

Laters!
