Embracing Discomfort.

Feel epic after working out. After about a week, lifting weights repeatedly in the sun kissed living room at the brink of dawn, feels almost like a spiritual reawakening. And I love it.

Working from home today cause of a genuine reason – need to get arse to the bank and sort out this mortgage once and for all. The banksters, being the absolute prat’s that they are, keep asking me a million documents. And their ancient systems fluctuate wildly between being unavailable, busy, broken, or non existent. We spent the whole of last evening walking around multiple ATMs around Canary Wharf to deposit some cash. We found a grand total of zero. In the financial centre of the financial capital of the world. Pathetic. Exactly why Bitcoin puts every one of these inept cronies out of business.

Anyway, rant over.

In other news, my Irish house renovation had kicked off. It’s basically a cosmetic refresh – painting, plastering, sealing. Still, a 7–9 day job costing a small fortune. But it’s long overdue. And as per the local estate agents, I am sitting on a gold mine that’ll sell for big bucks as soon as it hits the market. Let’s see. Am targeting the May bank holiday to go live with the ad.

On the work front – quiet, thankfully. I actually would love a quiet week (again!) this week just until I get the mortgage & house sale over the line. Let the proverbial hit the fan after that.

And on that cheerful metaphor, talk soon!
