Embracing Discomfort.

Monday again. A hot, gorgeous, and busy weekend to reminisce about. Bought a brand new car for the first time ever. Well, u say bought, but technically I am simply the keeper of the car on a 24 month PCP. Either way, it’s ours to use and misuse until then.

Straight away, I realised how much I missed the electrical whoooosh. The driving experience of an EV is so much better than any ICE, guaranteed. I don’t know why anyone bothers with petrol or diesel cars anymore tbh. EV’s are simply better, in all possible ways.

Drive it to Brighton on Saturday to enjoy some sun and sand. Alas, Brighton was and will continue to be, an absolutely chavvy hellhole. Loud music, terrible parking, windy AF. Soulless, charmless, classless. Ugh. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

After the customary photo-op, we legged it back to civilisation and hit the sack, tired as hell. Spent all of Sunday cruising around the neighbourhood, setting the car up with the phone, enjoying more sunshine, and after a sumptuous chicken curry dinner that the Mrs made, fell asleep bright and early at 6pm. Just up now after 12 straight hours of sleep and feeling great.

Huge work week ahead with lots of heaving lifting for me. Can’t wait. And talking of lifting, back to the weights shortly.

Long week, and I’ll make it as productive and fun and holistic as possible.

Talk soon!
