Daily Diary
20th January, 2024
Finally back to sleeping on my floor bed. Love it. -6 degree morning, with a sun kissed sky, blood-orangish hues all over the horizon. A gorgeous view from my living room window.
Did some housekeeping – rearranging shelves, giving the kitchen a once-over, putting stuff in the general direction of where they belong.
Fired up the work laptop finally to start with the barrage of emails. Jot down a few points to create a couple slides first my interview on Monday – work in progress on this big time. It’s a 30-minute slot, so am guessing time would be tight. So gotta make this as crisp, effective, and succinct as possible without losing the narrative. I’ll try to get to it.
Dinner was beef burgers and sausages, a side of cheesy omelettes, and my mom’s homemade halwa as dessert.
Still have to do all my laundry and ironing, get my suits organized, and get going. But I put it off and watch my cousin’s new Netflix show instead. Then get mesmerised by Le Carre’s writing for an hour straight, before nodding off to bed.
Sunday is going to be a day of reflection and hard labour. Someone’s gotta do it!
