So another day of unproductive work because a global memorandum has been passed to every one of us plebs by the upper echelons: get your arse to the office regularly.
This isn’t a problem for me, actually I view it more as a boon. I love my bike ride to the office, spending time in exquisite surroundings, trading notes and brainstorming sessions and the rare beer or three with colleagues. But for a majority of my peers, this feels like a crushing blow to their freedom. Personally, I reckon they are all a tad too entitled. The pandemic is long over. We are all bereft of any meaningful, in-person camaraderie, and how exactly can we expect to have our cake and eat it too?
Anyway, not my problem to solve or manage. I am delighted that this will come soon though.
In other news, had pizza for dinner after forever. But skipped the gym cause the Mrs was super sick and I didn’t want to leave her by herself.
Anyway, back to the hamster wheel. Talk soon.
