Bring On Summer

My plate, and energy, are bubbling over.

Embracing Discomfort.

Strap in, folks; we’re on the edge of a whirlwind summer.

As the season shifts, I’m throwing open the book on my upcoming months.

*brace for impact*

First up, work. A beast on steroids. New clients on the horizon, stakeholder marathons, summer sync-ups, mentorship gigs that go both ways, all while juggling my trio of VIP customers. It’s a jigsaw puzzle, but who doesn’t love a challenge?

Then onto my personal life. Time to exit stage left from my current rented digs and dive into the London property scene. Sale already agreed but now comes the real show: a top-to-tail makeover of the bathrooms and kitchen (never have I ever done anything like this before) prior to us moving in. All funded by yours truly, of course. While in the background, a financial ballet unfolds: figuring how to get our house deposit from India to our UK bank account, squaring away the legalese and logistics, having enough juice left over to fork for the stamp duty, moving costs, etc. Sigh.

But wait, there’s more. My Irish abode – home for over five years and now rented out – needs a major facelift before I can put it up on the market. Local estate agents telling me to do it ASAP cause the “market is hot”. Cue tenant heart-to-hearts about notice…
